Terms of Service — Hobby Flipper

These terms are an agreement between you and Data Driven Design, LLC (“Hobby Flipper”, “we”, “us”) for use of hobbyflipper.com and the Hobby Flipper web app. By subscribing or using the app you agree to them.

1. What Hobby Flipper is

Hobby Flipper is a subscription data tool for sports card flippers. It shows historical eBay sales data for a curated set of cards and ranks plays based on that data. It is an information product. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and we are not a broker, dealer or marketplace.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Plans are billed through Stripe: annual ($99.99, renews every 12 months) or monthly ($9.99, renews every month). Prices are in US dollars and may change for future renewal periods; we will tell you before a price change takes effect.
Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
No free trial. The tutorials on this site show every screen before you buy.
No refunds. All payments are final, including for partial periods and unused time. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
Cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal linked in your receipt emails, or by emailing us.
If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it is resolved.

3. NoOffseason.com members

Hobby Flipper is included free for one year with a NoOffseason.com premium membership. That access is governed by NoOffseason’s terms and ends when your NoOffseason membership ends or the year is up, whichever comes first. After that you can subscribe directly here.

4. Your account

One subscription is for one person. Keep your login private and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that share logins, scrape the app, or abuse the service.

5. Using the data

The data, rankings, charts and content in Hobby Flipper are for your personal use in buying and selling cards. You may not copy, republish, resell, scrape or redistribute the data or use it to build a competing product. Screenshots for personal reference or social posts about your own flips are fine.

6. No guarantees

Card prices move. Historical sales data does not predict future sales. Rankings and “plays” are calculated from past data and can be wrong. You make your own buying, grading and selling decisions and you bear the results. Hobby Flipper is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee that the data is complete, accurate or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Data Driven Design, LLC is not liable for any loss of money, profits or data, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of Hobby Flipper. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Affiliate links and third parties

Links to eBay and other merchants are affiliate links; we may earn a commission when you buy through them. Those purchases are between you and the merchant, under the merchant’s terms. Payments are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s terms.

9. Changes to the service

We add cards, features and data sources over time and may retire features that are not working. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes. If we shut the service down, we will refund the unused portion of prepaid annual subscriptions.

10. Termination

You can stop using Hobby Flipper at any time by cancelling. We may terminate accounts that break these terms; if we do so without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your current period.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], United States, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located there.
