When I came back to the hobby in 2020 the landscape had changed. Not only were there more sets and releases, there were dozens — sometimes hundreds — of parallel versions of the same base card. Each rookie had the potential to have tens of thousands of different rookie cards.
Take it from me: only a handful of rookie cards for the top players in each sport are actually valuable, and have the repeatable peaks and valleys you can buy low and sell high, year after year.
After using every other sports card data tool out there, I built one that doesn’t try to add the most cards. It focuses only on the cards that make you money, cuts out the crap, and tells you the play. Market Movers and Card Ladder are great price guides. Hobby Flipper isn’t a price guide.
