Hobby Flipper (“we”, “us”) is operated by Data Driven Design, LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use hobbyflipper.com and the Hobby Flipper web app at app.hobbyflipper.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Account information. When you subscribe we receive your name and email address from Stripe, and you create a password for the app. If you join through NoOffseason.com, your NoOffseason email is used to give you access.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us your name, email, the last four digits of your card, and the status of your subscription. Stripe’s own privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
What you add to the app. Holdings you put in your Portfolio, Flips you log, Sell Alert targets, and filter preferences are stored so the app can work. Your display name and flip results may appear on the Flipper Rankings leaderboard, which is visible to other members. You can change your display name in the app.
Usage data. Like most sites we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and which features are used. This uses cookies and collects things like your browser type, approximate location, pages viewed and the buttons you click (for example, when you start checkout). We do not use this data to identify you personally.
Email. When you subscribe we may email you about your account, receipts, product updates and new plays. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; account and billing emails are sent as long as you have a subscription.
We do not sell your personal information.
Links to eBay and other merchants on this site and in the app are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate programs include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network. The merchant may set its own cookies when you follow those links; their privacy policies apply on their sites.
We use cookies to keep you logged in to the app, to remember preferences, and for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the app’s login will not work without its session cookie. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, use Google’s browser add-on.
Only the services we need to run Hobby Flipper: Stripe (payments), our hosting and email providers, and Google Analytics. Each acts on our instructions and is bound by its own privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.
We keep your account data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you resubscribe. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing us; billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Hobby Flipper is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, email subscribers.
