These terms cover the Hobby Flipper affiliate program run by Data Driven Design, LLC (“Hobby Flipper”, “we”). By creating an affiliate code you agree to them, in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. The offer
- A new Hobby Flipper customer who subscribes using your code gets 20% off their first payment. The code does not apply to renewals, to existing or returning customers, or to NoOffseason.com memberships.
- You earn a one-time commission of 25% of the amount that member actually paid on their first payment (after the discount). No commission on renewals.
- We may change the discount, commission rate, or these terms with notice by email; changes apply to referrals made after the change.
2. Who can join
Anyone 18 or older with a valid email and a Stripe-supported bank account. One affiliate account per person. We may decline or close accounts at our discretion.
3. Attribution
A referral is credited when your promotion code is applied on the Stripe checkout, or when the customer arrived through your link within the last 30 days and no other affiliate’s code was used. If two affiliates could claim the same customer, the code used at checkout wins; otherwise the most recent link click wins. Our records are final.
4. Payouts
- Commissions are held for 30 days after the referred payment (chargeback window), then become payable.
- Payable balances of $25.00 or more are paid on the 1st of each month through Stripe to the bank account you connect. Smaller balances roll over.
- You must complete Stripe’s onboarding (identity and, where required, tax information) before you can be paid. Stripe issues any required tax forms. Unpaid balances on accounts that never complete onboarding expire after 12 months.
- If a referred payment is refunded, disputed, or charged back, the commission is voided; if it was already paid, it is deducted from your next payout.
5. What you can’t do
- Refer yourself, your own household, or accounts you control.
- Post your code on coupon, deal, or cashback sites, or in comments on other people’s posts as spam.
- Run paid ads that bid on “Hobby Flipper”, “NoOffseason”, “Paul Hickey” or misspellings, or that link straight to hobbyflipper.com with your code.
- Present yourself as Hobby Flipper, an employee, or an official account; use our logo in a way that implies endorsement beyond “affiliate”.
- Make earnings claims, price-performance guarantees, or statements about the tool that aren’t true. Hobby Flipper is a data tool, not investment advice — say so when you talk about it.
- Offer your own rebates or incentives on top of the discount.
Breaking these rules voids the affected commissions and may close your account.
6. Disclosure
US law (FTC) requires you to make clear that you earn a commission when someone uses your code. “I get a small commission if you join with my code” is enough.
7. Your data and your referrals’ data
We store your name, email, code, click counts and payout history. You see referred members only as a masked email, plan and status — never their full details. Stripe holds your bank and identity information under Stripe’s privacy policy.
8. Ending the program
You can stop any time by emailing paul@hobbyflipper.com; earned, payable commissions are still paid out. We may pause or end the program with 30 days’ notice; earned commissions are honored.
