Hobby Flipper Release 2.0 Sale Timing Tutorial
"When is the best time to end my eBay auctions?" is one of the questions Paul gets asked most, and the Sale Timing page answers it with data. Every Card Details page already shows an auction sale price deviation heat map for that one card; Sale Timing rolls it up across all tracked cards over the last 90 days, in your local time zone, so you can see which day and hour auctions close for the most money. Hover any cell to see the exact premium (or discount) versus the average auction and how many sales it's based on — for example, in this 90-day window, auctions ending Thursday at 6 p.m. Central closed 102% above average across 190 sales. Green means above the average end time, red means below. Paul also previews what's coming: the ability to compare categories and sports against one another.
Hobby Flipper is built to help you find the right card for the right player at the right time — and to make money flipping sports cards. Rather than tracking millions of cards, it focuses on the few thousand that actually produce repeatable plays and shows you, from the data, which plays to make and which to fade.
